0 Hey OpenAI team, my name is Jesse King. I'm a senior software engineer and I'm 7 applying for your people innovation engineering role. I was really excited 12 to see this job posting. I feel like my skill set just aligns perfectly for the 19 role. Currently I work as a lead engineer at Youth Inc which is a youth sports 27 media platform. I've built and architected that site from the ground up and 34 probably the aspect of it that is most relevant to this role that I built is 42 our media library. So we have currently a library of around 1,100 pieces of 49 content, more uploaded daily and on that I've integrated an AI pipeline so that 56 when our media team uploads new content it's automatically classified, 61 categorized, summarized and that makes it a lot more searchable, discoverable 69 from 70 the user perspective. Prior to that I built Cutlist which is a creator platform 78 that allows you to pay wall video content. Similarly when content is 84 uploaded on that platform it's summarized, time stamped, chapter and then if 91 the 92 creator mentions any products within that transcript those are automatically 98 turned into affiliate cards among the content. Both of these are leveraging 105 OpenAI's APIs so I'm very familiar with that. I've just built a lot of things 112 from 0 to 1 and then I've also launched features at scale, I've worked for 118 acquired.com which is a marketplace to buy and sell SaaS businesses and in that 126 built out document builder software think like asset purchase agreement, letter 133 of intent, that sort of thing that's now used by what we see tens of thousands 139 of 140 customers and helped that company get to where we were able to start taking 146 transaction fees in the millions. So yeah let's see also at acquire did a lot 153 of cross-team interaction and collaboration. I was having to deal with legal and 158 marketing and product so I just feel like this role I could really lean into 166 and bring value to the team.
