0 Hey Netflix team, my name is Jesse King. I am a senior front-end engineer and I 6 'm 7 applying for your TV UI engineer position. I was really excited to see this 13 role. I feel like my skill set lines up perfectly. Currently I am the lead 20 front-end engineer at Youth Inc which is a youth sports media platform. I built 26 it 27 from the ground up and probably the most relevant thing I've built there in 33 in regard to this Netflix position is our media library. We have over 1,100 40 pieces 41 of media content, more uploaded daily that I built out. Part of that I built 47 in AI pipeline that automatically classifies and summarizes all the 53 content that's uploaded by our media team and that makes discoverability 57 really great on the user side. All of this is displayed in like a YouTube 64 style user interface that I built out. Before I was at Youth Inc I built a 71 cut list which is a creator platform that allows YouTube paywall videos and 77 in part of that effort I built out a heavily customized React video player 84 which shows chapter overlays, affiliate card overlays, the little slider, all 94 of that was customized. I think all of that is relevant to this potential role 101 from what I understand. Before I built cut list I've worked in developer roles 107 where I've built out features that are used by hundreds of thousands of users, 112 tens of thousands of paying customers and really just helped us drive the 119 bottom line as a business. So I feel that all of these efforts have resulted in 126 me being ready to really contribute to Netflix as a team member. I appreciate 133 your consideration and hope to hear from you all. Thanks.
