I’m Jesse King, a frontend engineer specializing in building consumer-facing platforms in React/TypeScript. 

My recent work includes leading development of Youth Inc’s media platform with over 1,100 videos, AI-powered categorization, instant search, and custom content blocks, and building CutList, a creator monetization platform with a fully custom React video player, automated AI workflows, and Stripe-powered payments. 

Across my career, I’ve delivered scalable, high-performance products from 0 to 1, and this demo shows how CutList brings those capabilities together.

0 Hi, I'm Jesse King. I'm a React and TypeScript engineer with experience 5 building 6 SaaS and Marketplace products end-to-end. Currently I work as a lead front-end 13 engineer for a youth sports commerce and media platform and I've helped build 20 out that site from zero to one. Most recently I've been building out and 25 managing the media aspect of that site which now houses over 1,100 pieces of 32 content. We upload more daily and in that process I've built out an automated 39 AI pipeline which automatically classifies, categorizes, summarizes all the 46 content which then makes it much easier to discover on the user perspective. 52 All that's rendered out in a YouTube style content library. Prior to that role I 60 built out Cutlist which is a creator platform that allows you to pay wall 65 videos. It similarly summarizes and timestamps, video content but it also 74 extracts any products that are mentioned within a video and renders 78 those as affiliate links. I've built out features that are used by hundreds of 86 thousands of users, tens of thousands of paying customers. I love to build real 94 tangible features and do actual coding. If I'm not working I'm still coding in 101 my free time. I love it and I believe I can bring value to your team which is 107 is why I'm applying, thanks.
